Subscription FAQs

How does the subscription work?

Your subscription will run for as long as you want.

You can cancel the subscription at any time with the option to reinstate your subscription at any point in the future.

You will receive your order once a month.

We do not keep any stock on hand, but place orders with our roasters prior to each batch shipment (see information on our batch shipping process).

Rest assured, you will receive freshly roasted coffee every month.

All of our coffee will note the roast date on the bag. Seeing as you will most likely receive coffees that were roasted on various dates, we recommend using the coffee with the earliest roast date first and moving on from there to coffee’s that were roasted most recently.

Absolutely, you are in complete control of your subscription.

In your Account go to Subscriptions to access any of the below options:

Change Order Date:
 
Push an order out/bring it forward by choosing a new date for your coffee order to be processed. Keep in mind that this might affect the batch in which your order will fall (see information on our batch shipping process).

Cancel: 
You can use this option if you would like to cancel your subscription. You will have the option to reinstate your subscription at any point in the future.

Of course! The content of your subscription can be changed at any point in time, which will take effect on your next renewal date.

You can change between the available subscriptions (Everyday & Single Origin), and increase / decrease* the quantity of bags in your subscription.

To update the subscription type or quanities, browse the available subscriptions, specify your preferred bag size, quantity and grind style and simply choose “add to existing subscription”.

To remove items in your subscription, go to Subscriptions in your Account and select the “Modify Subscription” option.

* Please note that each subscription option has 3 bags as the minimum order quantity

Yup! We include the option for whole beans or specific grind instructions for different brewing methods*

*We would highly recommend that you invest in a good hand grinder or electric burr grinder. Freshly ground coffee will always translate into a better cup of coffee than coffee made with pre-ground coffee.

Delivery FAQs

We have partnered with some of South Africa’s leading courier companies who will deliver your order directly to you.
For a smooth delivery process, please make sure that the address and contact details you’ve provided us with are correct.
Please note, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.

Yes you can. We have arranged for designated pick up points in Cape Town, this list includes:

  • Flatmountain Coffee Roasters: 103 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock.
  • Origin Coffee Roasting: 28 Hudson Street, De Waterkant.
  • Rosetta Roastery Café: 101 Bree Street, CBD.
  • Saint James Café: 43 Station Road, Observatory.

We do not keep any stock on hand, but place orders with our roasters prior to each batch shipment.

Your monthly order will be batched based on the date of your order, and dispatched accordingly.

Batch 1:

Orders received between the 1st and 15th of the month (processed and shipped after the 15th)

Batch 2:

Orders received between the 16th and last day of the month (processed and shipped after the last day of the month)

Only R65, Nationwide!

If you are Cape Town based, you have the option to select a free Cape Town pick-up point from which to collect your order, and avoid delivery costs.

We offer nationwide delivery.

REFER A FRIEND FAQs

View your unique discount code by heading to the referral area* and selecting the “coupons” tab, or access it here.

They can activate the 25% discount on their first month’s subscription, by applying your unique discount code at checkout.

There’s no limit to how many people can use your unique code, meaning you can get between 5% and 100% off your own monthly subscription.

For every successful referral, you’ll receive a recurring 5% discount in the form of store credit based on their subscription value, credited directly towards your future renewals, as long as they are subscribed.

Store credit will be directly credited towards your future renewals, as long as they are subscribed. 

View your available store credit by heading to the referral area*, and selecting the “payouts” tab.
